The Mar de Cristal on which our villa is located is the perfect place to take part in water sport activities.

Kayaking in the Costa Cálida

This lovely coastline boasts white Mediterranean beaches and blue seas which stretch along the horizon – making for a perfect day out on the water.

Kayak Safaris along the Mar Menor gives you the opportunity to explore the lagoons and intricacies of this famous coastline, learning about wildlife of the region as you go.

These safaris also offer the chance to go snorkelling and visit different islands in the surrounding area – making the perfect day out for families and couples alike.

While “Mar Menor” may translate to “Smaller Sea”, there is plenty to see from a Kayak. As one of the few places in the world in which you can see traditional Mediterranean fishing techniques, there is ample opportunity to explore new cultures.

The famously clear seas of this coastline make for perfect diving, and with year round water temperatures above 20 degrees this makes for perfect exploration of the seabed.

For Kids…

There are also opportunities children who are likely to be excited about diving.

The La Manga Club has a scuba school for children – giving your kids the opportunity to view 75% of the Earth’s surface which is otherwise kept a mystery.

Allowing kids from 8+, this site is experienced in teaching children to scuba dive – letting your worries stay at bay during this relaxing trip.

The Pro Vela Sailing Academy is a fantastic place to spend a day on the sea. With leisure courses, equipment hire and a dedicated instructor academy, there is plenty available for you to do.
