This restaurant in the Mar de Cristal area has a range of cuisine and is friendly to both vegetarians and those who can’t eat gluten.
They are rated third in Mar Menor on Tripadvisor, and have a luxurious position on the seafront.
Chiringuito Puerta de Lomar
This restaurant is also located on the seafront and has a lovely Mediterranean menu.

Restaurant Club Deportivo at Tennis and Paddel Club
This restaurant can be booked in advance directly, but it is not necessary to do so. The menu at this restaurant is heavily Mediterranean with Italian influences. Tripadvisor
El Rincon del Puerto
This restaurant sits on the shoreline of the marina and specialises in Mediterranean food, particularly traditional paella.
The website for the area is here, but Tripadvisor will give you a better feel for the food and restaurant.
La Casa de Will
This restaurant is in another sea-front location, and will very much give you a feel for Al Fresco dining!
Pizzeria D’Angelo
This fantastic pizzeria has a great menu and a lovely view of the sea.

Los Belones
Via Romana
This Italian restaurant is the best rated location in Los Belones, and for good reason. With fast service and great food, this makes for a great place to eat out.
El Toro
This lovely tapas bar has a distinctly Spanish atmosphere, and has the opportunity to explore all the different foods on offer from the region.
With outdoor seating and quick service, this is a fantastic place to spend some time.
Restaurante Ensosushi
This Japanese restaurant has great food, attentive staff and an extensive wine list. For lovers of sushi, this restaurant is a place to visit.
Restaurante Pablo Guardiola
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and fantastic food, which contributes to its position as one of the better restaurants in the local area. It is also noted to have good coffee. Find out more on Restaurant Guru or Tripadvisor.
Juniper
For those who prefer a more pub-like atmosphere, Juniper is a fantastic place to visit. With a great gin list, and fantastic service this is a lovely place to spend an evening. They serve home made chips on the ‘Chip Shop Night’ and have a lovely Carvery on a Sunday.

Cabo de Palos
Cabo de Palos has a lovely marina that is surrounded by restaurants, some of them the best in the region.
There are numerous bars and nightclubs in this very lovely area.
Yemanja
Yemanja is dedicated to producing high quality Meditterenearn food in the region of Cabo de Palos. In a beautiful location with friendly staff and a fantastic atmosphere, this restaurant is a perfect place to spend an evening out.
El Rancho
El Rancho If you like the Argentine cuisine, you should visit this restaurant. At El Rancho, visitors can try tasty antipasto, mixed grill and chargrilled meat. They are also rated for good chocolate pie, gelato and gâteau here. After a hard day sightseeing this is the perfect place to relax with friends.
Cabo P
Cabo P This is a traditional beach bar servicing Mediterranean styled food with a great seafood menu – come here for it’s mouthwatering fried octopus and beer. Cabo P is also known for great lemonade and coffee and with such a fantastic location is well worth a visit.
Gran Torino
Gran Torino This is a classic Italian pizzeria perfect for tasty spaghetti carbonara, goat cheese salads and calzone pizza. It is worth a visit to try their tiramisu, panna cotta and flans. This is a restaurant to visit when you are looking for a cosy atmosphere and change of scenery.
El Pez Rojo
El Pez Rojo This is a more elegant Mediterranean restaurant perfect for a romantic evening meal. With fantastic views across the bay there are few better places to watch the sun go down over a bottle of wine for two. This restaurant is recommended for brandade, steamed mussels and antipasto followed by a dessert of mille-feuille, baked custard and brulee dessert.
Agua Sala
Agua Sala If you want to visit a tapas bar with a strong Spanish feel in a great location, then this is somewhere you should explore for Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine. Known for its tuna tartare, tuna tataki and antipasto followed by great gâteau, cheesecake and gelato. It’s worth trying the famous cortado which some people find an acquired taste!
La Fresca
La Fresca As its name suggests, this restaurant is open air and great for a night out with family and friends. With a wide range of cuisine to choose from – Asian, Mexican, Spanish, Seafood and Vegetarian – come here for octopus, hamburgers and sushi.
