The Mar de Cristal area has a lot to offer to our guests, including fantastic sports facilities and spas.
The area is a residential and holiday resort which is just a short distance from the well known La Manga Resort. On the Costa Calida, the area is packed with lovely beaches, golf courses and sporting facilities.
The crystal waters are some of the safest you could hope for – stretching out for over 100m at waist height. Further out, the water is deeper, perfect for scuba diving and other activities.
With nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine every year, and an average temperature of above 20 degrees, this is a fantastic location to sit back and enjoy the sun.
Tennis and Padel Club
The MDZ Tennis and Padel Club is a 3 minute drive from the villa, making it a perfect location to spend a day.
With extensive tennis courts, a gym, a spa, and a number of padel facilities, the club is well equipped for all your needs.
Padel is a growing sport both in Spain and abroad, as a fast paced and exciting form of racket sport.
Our family frequently heads to the padel club for a fun day out very close to the villa. It’s a fantastic game and we really love to play it.
The Marina
The Marina in Mar De Cristal allows for opportunities to head off on boat trips and explore the sea to your heart’s delight.
This is also the location of a number of watersport centres, and so it is an unmissable area during your stay.
The Beach
The beaches in the Mar De Cristal area are some of the best in the world, and aren’t to be missed out on. Pop down with a book to relax, or maybe bring a football for a nice day out.
